Overview

Plugroo is an EV charging app operated by Dirhand Pty Ltd (ABN 64 659 390 306), an Australian company based in Sydney. You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time, directly inside the app.

Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. We handle requests in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

02

Delete your account in the app

You can request deletion in a few taps - no email required:

  1. 1Open Plugroo and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. 2Tap the Contribute tab, then open your Profile.
  3. 3Scroll down. Directly below Log out, tap Deactivate account.
  4. 4On the Delete your account screen, tap Request account deletion and confirm.

Your request is submitted in-app, with no email needed, and we process it within 30 days.

03

Can't sign in?

If you have uninstalled the app or can no longer sign in, email hello#plugroo.com.au (replace # with @) from the address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". To protect your account, we may ask you to verify ownership before we proceed. These requests follow the same timeframe as in-app requests.

04

What gets deleted

When your request is processed, we permanently remove the personal data linked to your account, including:

Deleted permanently

  • Profile: name, email, avatar, and sign-in identifiers (Apple / Google)
  • Saved chargers, favourites, and recently viewed stations
  • Check-ins and contribution history
  • Vehicles, home charger details, and app settings
  • Trips and routes saved to your account
  • Device and advertising identifiers linked to your account

Anonymised, not deleted

  • Station reviews, ratings, photos, and issue reports you contributed

To keep charging data accurate for other drivers, public contributions are de-identified and detached from your account rather than removed - they can no longer be traced back to you. Want a specific contribution taken down entirely? Ask us by email.

05

06

How long deletion takes

07

Subscriptions

Deleting your Plugroo account does not automatically cancel a Premium subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play. To stop future charges, cancel the subscription in your device's store settings before you delete your account.
