Acknowledgement of Country
Plugroo acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters across Australia where EV drivers travel, live and charge. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, culture and community.
Australia-wide coverage
Because Plugroo covers stations across many regions, this acknowledgement extends to the many Countries, language groups and communities represented across Australia.
Charging station data
Plugroo brings together charging station information so drivers can make better decisions before they arrive. Station listings, connector details, pricing notes, availability signals, access notes and amenities may be compiled from public information, charging network or operator data, official websites, partner feeds, manual checks and reports from Plugroo users.
Network and operator data
Where available, live status and station details may come from charging networks, site operators or their published systems.
Public and official sources
We may reference publicly available station pages, operator information, council or venue details and other official material.
Driver reports
Reports about blocked bays, faults, access notes, photos and corrections help improve station information for everyone.
Verification and editing
Plugroo may review, combine, normalise and update data so it is easier to compare across networks and locations.
No endorsement implied
References to charging networks or operators such as Chargefox, NRMA, Evie, Tesla and others are descriptive. Unless clearly stated, they do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or partnership.
Maps, geocoding and directions
Plugroo uses third-party mapping and location services to display maps, search places, estimate routes and open directions. This may include Mapbox services inside the Plugroo map, Google Maps links for directions, Apple Maps links on supported devices, browser location APIs and related platform services.
Map labels, road data, boundaries, travel estimates and place results are provided by their respective providers and can change independently of Plugroo.
Open-source software
Plugroo is built with open-source software and developer tools, including Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Mapbox GL JS and other packages from the JavaScript and web platform ecosystem.
We appreciate the maintainers and contributors who make these projects available. Open-source projects remain licensed by their respective authors and communities, and Plugroo aims to respect the applicable licence terms.
Trademarks and third-party names
Names, logos and trademarks for charging networks, vehicle brands, map providers, app stores and other third parties belong to their respective owners. Plugroo uses these names only to identify compatible services, networks, locations, apps or products for drivers.

Driver and community contributions
Plugroo is more useful when Australian EV drivers share what they find on the ground. Thank you to everyone who reports a broken charger, flags a blocked bay, suggests an edit, uploads a station photo or sends feedback about the experience.
These contributions help other drivers plan with more confidence and help us keep station information practical, current and honest.
